A total of 1,248 solar panels were installed between summer 2020 and March 2021

In total 1,074 solar panels were installed in summer 2020 and have been in operation since September 2020. 174 additional panels were installed in March 2021 and have been in operation since April 2021. The portal gives an automatic calculation on how much kg CO2 the solar production saves the school. It compares it with how much CO2 would be eventually absorbed by planting a set amount of trees. For instance, in the school year 2020-2021 (1 August 2020 to 31 July 2021) the solar panels were operational from September and produced 250,175 kWh = 250.18 MWh = 98,070.56 kg CO2 were saved = planting 2927.48 trees (data provided by our energy digital monitors).
