Friday, 19 September:
AM – Primary – students have been practising the song “World of Peace” and they will perform it today. It will be recorded.
PM – Secondary – the student-led team Humans of UWC Maastricht has designed story-telling and creativity activities around the theme of Peace for all tutor groups. Students will engage in this way with the theme “Voices for Peace”.
There will be also 3 workshops on Anti-Racism and Peace building led by our older students for parents and UWC alumni in Maastricht.
7:30-9PM – A musical event UWC Lounge at Muziekgieterij, a local concerts venue, will bring the theme of Peace to the broader public and musicians and spoken-word speakers will perform.
Saturday 20 September:
Our Parent Association organizes the annual International Fair, a display of gastronomic treasures and cultural performances to celebrate our diversity and welcome our new community members. More than 800 attendees are expected.
