Preparing you for university
Every year, UWC graduates continue their studies at leading universities around the world. Many alumni say the skills they developed at UWC help them thrive in higher education and beyond.
The broad and challenging curriculum is highly valued by universities worldwide. It gives you the best chance to find the right destination for your goals. Some choose top-ranked universities such as Harvard, Cambridge, the University of Hong Kong, or MIT. Others prefer to learn specialist skills or study closer to home.
UWC partners with many universities to support your next steps. The Davis-UWC Scholars Program is the largest international undergraduate scholarship scheme in the world. It offers UWC graduates scholarships to over 100 US colleges and universities, including all eight Ivy League institutions.
Training and entrepreneurship
Many UWC alumni use what they learn at UWC to follow paths that create impact in different ways. Some pursue specialist training or further education. Others launch initiatives, charities or businesses inspired by ideas they first explored at UWC. Staying connected through the UWC Hub
The UWC Hub connects students in the IBDP/IDCP years, short course alumni, school and college alumni, staff, volunteers and former staff from across the UWC movement.
As a member of the UWC Hub community, you can find advice on career paths, guidance on launching projects or help in specialist areas. Many use the Hub to collaborate on new ideas, find mentors or offer support to others. It keeps the UWC spirit alive long after students leave campus.
