Recycling used pens, markers and other writing instruments

Our school’s Eco-Team is always eager to find new ways to reduce, reuse and recycle the waste we produce. Thanks to their research, since November we can now collect empty or faulty writing instruments (from any brand) and ensure this type of plastic and metallic waste gets recycled properly and used to make new writing products. This free recycling program is possible because of the partnership of TerraCycle with BIC.

We feel lucky to have finally moved from their waiting list to becoming a stationery collection point for used writing products in Maastricht!
