UWC-USA is in the planning phase for a 800 kW Solar Energy Installation to offset 100% of the current electricity demand to reduce reliance on fossil fuels. The solar installation varies from roof-top installations to parking shade structures with charging stations for our growing fleet of electric vehicles (EVs).
The Biogas Plant at UWC Mahindra College converts 200 kg of food waste into 15 cubic meters of biogas (methane) used for cooking food in our Cafeteria.
