Ensuring a UWC education is accessible to all

At the heart of UWC’s mission is the belief that education should be accessible to all, regardless of financial background. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, UWC’s scholarship programmes are among the most comprehensive in global secondary education. Currently, 80% of UWC students selected by a unique system of national committees receive financial assistance, with many receiving full scholarships, enabling us to select exceptional students based on merit, promise, and commitment to UWC’s values.

Through our 150 national committees worldwide, we meet “all demonstrated needs” and attract the most promising young leaders from all corners of the globe. Your support helps us:

• Continue offering financial aid to the most promising students, regardless of their ability to pay
• Build and sustain a diverse student body across UWC’s global network
• Enhance the richness of the UWC experience by preserving diversity
• Expand opportunities for pre-IB students and increase scholarships for refugee students
• Engage students from diverse cultural and socio-political backgrounds, fostering intercultural understanding
