Give your time
There are plenty of ways to get involved with UWC and give back to national committees, schools or the wider movement. We welcome the contributions of people from all walks and stages of life, whether you’re an experienced professional looking to contribute to a worthwhile cause, or a young graduate seeking valuable work experience.
You can contribute your time by volunteering for a national committee, a UWC school/college or UWC International.
Volunteer with a UWC national committee
Our national committees are run by people who understand the culture of their country or territory, and the communities that surround them.
Many of these people are volunteers, from new starters to experienced decision makers. Whether you’re a UWC alum wanting to assist your local national committee, the parent of a current or former UWC student wanting to help the people who supported your child for two years, or you simply know UWC and are keen to contribute – get in touch.
You’re welcome to volunteer with a UWC national committee in your current home country, with one that previously selected you, or with one that is close to your heart.
Volunteer with a UWC school or college
Our schools welcome volunteers, whether you’re a parent or community member offering your support, or a student or alum who wants to contribute and develop new skills.
UWC alumni and other community members can get involved in a variety of ways. Opportunities include attending or supporting in-person events, giving talks, assisting with fundraising initiatives and more. The roles available depend on current needs as well as your individual skills and interests.
To learn about volunteer opportunities, contact your local UWC school.
