Traditional scholarships require annual renewal, but the UWC Endowment Fund, launched in January 2024, provides perpetual funding, securing long-term support for talented students worldwide, regardless of financial background.

With an initial start of 40 million USD, the UWC Endowment aims to grow to 300 million USD by 2026 and ultimately to two billion USD. Your support helps sustain UWC’s ability to create leaders committed to peace, sustainability, and intercultural understanding. Managed by UWC Endowment Management (UWCEM), the Endowment provides a permanent income source for UWC’s scholarships, educational initiatives, and strategic priorities, ensuring the long-term future of UWC’s mission.

Your Impact: The Van Otterloo Challenge

Every 2 USD donated to the UWC Global Endowment Fund is matched by 1 USD through the Eijk and Rose-Marie van Otterloo Challenge, effectively tripling the impact of your gift. For every 2 USD you donate, the Van Otterloos will contribute 1 USD, amplifying your impact on UWC’s mission. This challenge is available until December 2025, so your donation will have an even greater effect if made before then.
