Environmental Action Group donates unused food to the local FoodBank

The student-led Environmental Action Group (EAG) set up in 2021 a biweekly collection of cooked but unserved food in the mensa for the local FoodBank. The average amount of the food collected is about 17kg per week. In addition, prior to holidays, when staff and students will be vacating the residential floors, collections are made of items soon to expire but which can be cooked at the Food Bank dinner service.
